Well, that day finally arrived. There are no more alarm clocks, no more meetings, and definitely no more pretending to understand the latest office jargon. But now what? If your current hobbies include perfecting the art of daytime TV remote control or becoming a professional napper, it might be time to spice things up a bit. Greycells is here to help you…
Because we believe retirement is not the end of the road. It’s the start of the most exciting chapter yet! Greycells offers you many ways to fill your days with activities and meet new friends.

Informative Social Coffee Mornings: Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation with like-minded people. Our coffee mornings are the perfect blend of learning and socialising, ensuring that you’ll leave smarter and more caffeinated… Here for example is what we did on 12 June 2025: Bonnie Fatio, the founder of AgeEsteem, presented an engaging talk on the subject of “Life begins at 60, or 70, or 90+”. The event was organised in partnership with the Club Suisse de la Presse at Chateau de Penthes. The Café event was attended by 45 participants, from Greycells and other organisations. In her presentation, Bonnie Fatio reminded us that ageing is neither a constraint nor a fatality. How we experience ageing is, to a large extent, a matter of personal choice. We should feel proud of our age and the experiences that come with it. She reflected on the nature of retirement, noting that while it often begins as a release from professional obligations, it can eventually provoke a deeper question: Is this all there is? Letting go of one’s professional identity can be disorienting, but ageing also opens up new paths—if we cultivate age esteem, the self-respect and value we assign to our age. Her concluding message resonated deeply We, together, hold the mandate to redefine what ageing means today. Morning Coffees are already planned for September and December 2025.
